He thought about this for a moment, and then announced “OK, I take you”. He set off, wheeling my bag, into the maze of narrow, dark alleyways. Left, left, right, left again - I soon lost count. 20 minutes later, we were relieved to start seeing signs for our hotel painted on walls, and 5 minutes more, we were on the banks of The Ganges, at the doorway to the Hotel Sita.
