Udaipur - The Lake City - is altogether calmer and more laid back, than anywhere else we have been. The buildings are predominantly white, there are flowers, it’s cleaner (not clean, but cleaner), and the shopkeepers and rickshaw drivers, less aggressive in their pestering. Surrounded by hills on all sides, we also had thunderstorms and rain most evenings here.
