The rest of the journey ran smoothly, and we got the train from Izmir airport to Selcuk, arriving around 8.30am. It was 11 o’clock before we managed to find a taxi (nothing seems to start early in Turkey), so we spent a few hours drinking Turkish coffee and standing around in the hot sun
