Anything gold is part of the baroque additions to the interior. Yowsa. Most of the interior is a more dignified Romanesque structure. There is one of these on each side for the organ pipes and the alter area is a gluttony of gold (unfortunately being worked on, so pix mostly show plastic sheeting).
