Beginning of September I thought that it would be better to leave the house to my fridge-raiding, sofware-designing husband at least for a couple of hours per week. And what would be more fitting for an immigrant than doing migrant farm work? I stopped at the first orchard (again, entertainment/keeping busy options are VERY limited in Gays Mills) on my way to Luki's daycare to ask whether they needed some help. BINGO! Helping out Jim and Crew there has been one of the best things in a long time for my body and mind. Mind at peace. Apples quiet, behave well, no letters to parent-apples, stressfree American work environment, lovely co-workers, fresh air and unlimited SUPER tasty, healthy apples.
The date is drawing closer... We'll be heading to the US in four weeks! Let the adventure begin. I will use this blog to let colleagues and friends know what we are up to. I will try to post one photo every week that shows some cultural differences...
