The Albemarle Sound, always a crapshoot, was a sloppy mess today! We even had some waves over our bow and, with the canvas open, had to duck to stay dry! 😜 It wasn’t like we were surprised, given the wind and weather report, and we have seen worse here, but I must admit, I was happy for the ginger snaps to calm my unusually, unsettled stomach as we crossed. 😳
