Finally quick enough to catch the dolphin (under the bow railing), but unfortunately not quick enough to catch the Wrightsville Beach Bridge, that unbelievably only opens on the hour!! Grr, need to remember this one if ever there is a next time! We typically bypass it on the ocean, but too rough out there today. School boy error caught us out this time and we lost 45 precious mins. Now racing to catch the Figure Eight Island Bridge, which only opens on the half hour. Internet chatter reports this bridge tender is a bit nigally so need to make this one in time for sure! 😉 PS Figure eight bridge is 25 ft, not 20 as reported so we scooted under no problem making up 10 minutes time! 👍
