Visiting the Beaufort Dock Office is a lovely, old fashioned experience, similar to Jekyll Island. They are so nice here and so chill! We borrowed their beater car to head to Piggly Wiggly and the Dockmaster didn’t even ask for my license, let alone my insurance card! This would never happen in PA! Admittedly, the car did look like my daughter’s old 2002 Pontiac Grand Am and smelled like it too, ha, ha, making the whole ridiculous experience nostalgic too.
