Brief history of the caves. This is a UNESCO World heritage site. They restricted pollution by not allowing private vehicles close to the caves. Everyone has to park and take the shuttle bus to the caves. These are not for the physically weak people, there is considerable climbing and walking involved. They are kept reasonably clean. For people who cannot climb or walk, they have a carrier service. The weather in January was very pleasant
