It's always nice when something takes you by surprise, and I was not expecting to find that the path I had just walked over was actually a bridge... had to go back for photos naturally. The basalt columns within the small cave are out of shot but equally as impressive. We smashed through the Snaefellsnes Peninsula in 2 days - far too fast.
