The benches represent the victims. The direction of the benches indicates if they were in the Pentagon (behind me), or if they were on the flight (same direction of camera) The Cape Myrtle trees were planted to provide shade as they continue to grow for years to come. The wall in the background starts out at 3 inches on the left to represent the youngest victim of age 3 at the time of the crash, to 71 inches on the right (the oldest victim was 71 years old). . . .
