Today is the day before Nyepi, a day of silence in Bali. Everyone is at the temple getting ready for celebrations tonight with these giant monsters that they spent weeks making and are going to parade and then burn. Tomorrow no one is allowed outside and they cut power and cell/internet service to the whole island so that evil spirits will think that Bali is uninhabited. Coonincidentaly, the weather tonight is incredibly calm and the whole vibe has an almost eerie feel to it.
