First game of the season was our first ever at the Naval Academy. A few quick thoughts. First off, the price is perfect: free! The waterfront stadium is tiny, but also nicer than some minor league parks I've been to. Really an excellent place to see a game. In fact, out of all the places I've ever seen a game, the single best sightline I've ever discovered is here. There's a pavilion atop the indoor batting cage on the third baseline. You get the benefit of the elevation of the suite level, but you're on the front row. Best of both worlds and I wish there was a way to incorporate this sightline into minor league parks. Only way it might be possible at a major league stadium is if the area below was a bunch of field level suites. Anyhow, it's the absolute best view of the game I've ever come across.
