It overran to the extent that returning the bike and getting to the train station on time was a touch more stressful that we would have liked but we made it! After our goodbyes and an extra trip to retireve my passport from Vicky, we jumped in the taxi to Thivim station. Another sleeper train back to Mumbai... Good guys in our section and they advised us on what we might do in colaba and Mumbai.

Molem, India

So there we were, guided by another long-distance rider to Molem and with little other choice, we stayed in the guest house he suggested. It was a small travellers rest place and in think the owner would have charged more if the indian guy didn't fix it for us. We ate at a truckers eatery and Iit was delicious food and I made sure the beer flowed after a fantastic day on the bike.
I woke at ten, later than I had hoped but with plenty of time to get to Arambol.
Nadia called and asked if we could stop at Mapusa for her and after I'd complained, we did.

It was perfect, we smashed a lot of the sights and really enjoyed a lovely afternoon exploring the rocky wonderland that is Hampi!
The guesthouse was clean and we were once again very tired. We ate at a veggie place which was the opposite of what I craved but the biggest draw was the lack of beer!
We arranged ourselves with aftersun, sun cream and bailing twine for the drive back then crashed.
The following morning I had a much needed massage with Raja and booked train tickets on the release scheme.
It was time to go so we booted it after breakfast, forgetting my travel adapter in the process!
The bike felt good, I felt good, Vanessa was a joy as usual and we made fantastic headway on the return leg. I was falling in love with the trip, the bike, the country and maybe the company..
Sunset was approaching as we entered the national park and we knew it was a 2 hour section with nomoptiond for a hotel. Luck was on our side and a friendly couple guided us through the last, and most exciting part of the park. It was a race against time through heaven and I'm loved it!

Gadag, India

Being who I am I thought that I could get us close to Hampi on day one. That was stupid of me. The roads were slow and so was I. I allowed myself to stress about gettingnthere which meant, by the time I admitted defeat, I was exhausted. I enjoyed the ride in the whole but my mindset stood in the way of me relaxing. Vanessa was amazing as per, encouraging and helpful with the directions. We got lost once and it was a helluva detour on some very ropey roads! We settled on gadag as a resting place and after beers and some food we slept off the days struggle.

The following morning we woke to damp conditions and I set off gingerly form the 2/3 hour remainder. We stopped in Hospet for food in a grubby little place before finally finding Hampi. And wow!

Goa, India

Arombol. The place where dreams are made. House share with 3 chicks and the most chilled place I can imagine! First day. At the beach and food with the sexy people for Nadia's birthday.
Hired a moped and got lost with V but shatred red snapper on the beach at sunset before the night market which blew me away! Got back on fumes with V

Visited anjuna and will head to a party tonight as I've slipped into a student-like sleeping pattern. Meeting my new friend Amit shortly.

We partied and it was gooooood. The live music at Twice In Nature was wicked and then we went on to CocoLoco's to hang.

The decision was made and I was going to Hampi on an Enfield.. Vanessa agreed to come so once the brief spel of food poisoning hard worn off, I arranged a bike!

Mumbai, India

More of a stop-over than a visit but Vanessa took me to meet Mohan and Megha. They truly were awesome and fed us, let us shower and then took us to bandra for a drink which lead to a stressful dash to the train station!

Udaipur, India

Scenic city with jaw-dropping sunset and dazzling palace. Happened upon the celebrationv of Shiva! Vanessa broke her phone and I had to say goodbye to Nick Pollaro, my India brother. Bhang
Lassi and the night of the Californians lead to a nice trip for me but no one else!
Found a pool and hung with V and a few beers before the 16hr train to Mumbai, which flew!

Jaipur, India

Wow! Beautiful Jaipur! Its cleaner than delhi and agra and the hostel is a huge win! the Hosteller is virtually empty aside from nick, Alejandro Cazar and me!
The bazaars were amazing and vibrant. I paid way too much for a bit of cotton but was otherwise amazed by how vibrant it is.
Got to the tower just as it closed and blagged a private climb to the top for epic views of the city and surrounding mountains.
Amber Fort, jaigarh And nahagarh contributed amazingly to the fantastic company I had on day two. Ended the long day with a beer, overlooking the entire city with a 180degrees pano!
Love that place!

Āgra, India

Taj Mahal and Agra fort with Nick Pollaro.
Local bus from Delhi, train to Jaipur. Almost missed both! Free tuk-tuk and old man on rickshaw that let me drive! Helpful train passengers on the lowest class. Agra itself is a hole.

Delhi

Red fort with Alex and George which wasn't as good as I'd hoped.
Walking tour was a real introduction to imdoia with an afternoon and evening spent in Old Delhi seeing various religious buildings and historic places. After the mosque and a climb of its tower, the real fun began. Heading into the food bazaars deeper than I'd have dared if I wasn't with guide, eating food I'd otherwise overlook or even fear! The guys short changed the guide which tarnished their reputation with me but still a fantastic way to get your hanfds dirty and see the real Old Delhi!
