Automatically the Service improves and the comfortability factor increases, I had my very own row of four seats to stretch out and sleep in with no one in front or behind me, no kids crying or old Chinese men hocking which is what I was worried about. Instead, I was fed well both before and after my solid uninterrupted six hour nap. As I started wishing that I had made more use of their free unlimited bar, the announcement that we were approaching Hong Kong and about to commence our descent rang out over the speaker. My excitement levels rose and I anxiously look out the window to catch my first glimpse. Nothing. I stare intently into this nothingness and then as the first silhouettes of Hong Kong's big city sky scrapers slowly appear, I realise that it's not nothing, it's actually the afternoon haze of pollution, a thick layer of smog that covers the entire city, so thick that I immediately understand why Chinese people wear those silly face masks and wonder where I could find one. That thought is quickly replaced as we drop below the smog and the city's lights become clear, I am now excited again and ready to explore the city that has beautiful skylines with hundreds of little islands that provide the breathtakingly surreal mountainous backdrops.https://jauntlet.com//57284https://jauntlet.com//57284Fri, 23 Jan 2015 17:20:00 +0800
