Went to Olympic Park today. We got to see where Michael Phelps broke the record for most medals ever in the Olympics.

Went to historic Lord's Cricket Park. Lord's is the largest cricket stadium in Europe and one of the oldest in the world, nearing 200 years of existence.

Yesterday we got a tour of Wimbledon

Yesterday we also got a tour of Stamford Bridge the home of Chelsea FC. I got to sit where some of my favorite players sit on game day.

Stopped by Tower Bridge today.

We decided to make our way around a few pubs and bars this evening.

Went on a hop on hop off bus tour of Dublin today. It went by places like St. Stephen's Green, Dublin Castle, Guinness Storehouse , and St. Patrick's Cathedral (pictured).

Went and played Gaelic games today. These games consist of Gaelic Football and Hurling. Hurling is referred as the fastest sport on grass. In hurling you use a hurley to strike slither which is kind of like a ball. This picture shows a shop where they make hurlies. Both games are native to Ireland and a great part of their culture and a HUGE deal. I suggest looking up both sports they're very entertaining and fun to play.

Well, today is finally the day we leave our trip. I am writing this as we wait for our flight. The last time I traveled anywhere by plane i was in the 7th grade and I was still very young. Seeing that I am now 21 things are a bit different. For me the excitement of getting to go somewhere foreign is still all the same, but i have found out all the stresses of travel: this cannot weigh more than this, this bag can be no bigger than this, exchange rates, etc. There is so much as a kid you do not know and much more we still have to find out. I am still trying to figure out this whole app so I hope this works well. The next time I post we will be in a different country! Till then, Eric

Took a journey to the country side. We went to Trim Castle and a few other places. Fun fact! Much of the movie Brave Heart was filmed at Trim Caslte.
