A little tired when I arrived in Frankfurt, I just sat in the Römer square and had a beer. It seems I change planes here a lot, so hope to explore it more someday.

I took the ferry to Tallinn where I was met by my couch surfing host, Elin. We spent two days wandering around the old town with a trip out to the Kadriorg park and palace.

Helsinki, Finland

I arrived in Helsinki and was immediately taken to a house party to watch the USA-Finland hockey, which was somehow made more interesting by my presence. The next day, my couch surfing host Petra took me on a great hike in the Nuuksion park where we grilled and swam in a freezing cold lake. The last day on my own, I strolled around the island fortress of Suomenlinna.

I like getting out of the airport in Munich and stopping in the beer garden there, before heading into town. Having only one night, I strolled around the old town popping in a few more beer gardens.

In Chisinau, we mostly stayed around Lucia's parents' apartment. Lucia showed me around her childhood playgrounds and we sat in the local cafe. The big adventure involved finding and installing a new TV antenna.
