When asked about traveling, a friend of mine replied, 'There are great people to meet everywhere you go.' Mark Twain once commented that 'Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness.' Both couldn't be more correct as today's world becomes smaller. Kindness, respect, enthusiasm and adventure are values that most travelers live by. I aim to show my friends, family and the world that different cultures are connected through these values rather than conflict. My trip will begin in Rome, Italy 2012 and will eventually take me to Asia. I hope my experiences can inspire others to be less critical of the unknown...
