Italy and Greece are everything I had imagined. The scenery, the food, the art, the architecture, and the pace of life transported me to an almost imaginary place in time. Jauntlet.comhttps://jauntlet.com/As our ship glided into the harbor of Santorini, the whitewashed buildings sat atop of towering cliffs overlooking the Aegean Sea came into view. Santorini does not have a cruise port, so my family boarded a tender to carry us to the base of the cliffs. from there, you have two choices to make it to the top of the Cliffs and to the town of ______. We chose the cable car over the donkeys. When we arrived at the top we began to explore the cobblestone streets lined with restaurants and gift shops selling souvenirs. It was a particularly hot day so we opted to stop for frozen Greek yogurt which was surprisingly good. We continued to meander through the streets until we came to an opening overlooking the harbor. From here we could see across the island and out to the sea.
