It all began when Solly returned from England and pinned a map of the world on our bedroom wall. He had spent two years in Dublin in the late 60s and early 70s when the flower culture, free love and the hippiedom was born. Coming from our hostile and repressed racist culture, he had been exposed to a life of freedom, love and anti-establishment sentiments. How could he go back to the hopeless socially engineered system that killed every instinctual drive of creativity in people?
