Last night we had the welcome dinner organised by HAN. After dinner I tried to keep myself occupied so that I didn't go to sleep too early and then at around 10pm I went to sleep. I woke up at 4am but then slept and woke up at 9am.

This morning I tried out the hotels gym, it was much larger than I expected. I think it must be the gym for the whole town as there were Zumba classes and a boot camp running.
After the organise breakfast I walked the town with Belle (my room mate), Hayley and Tessa. We found the grocery store and bought some food for dinner.

We were running late to the cut off time of 1pm to leave for the group tour in Nijmegen so the group left without us.
Hayley, Tessa, Ali, Jess and I went into town ourselves. Once we got of f the bus it was snowing which was an amazing moment to experience.
We decided the first thing we needed to buy was umbrellas so that we are prepared for this weather.

We had lunch in a cafe called Duu Commerce, the food was nice but the wanted me to pay for a glass of water with my meal! We spent the afternoon walking around and looking at the shops. I bought some tops that have high necks so you can't see my thermals and a puffer jacket that can be stored in a little bag.

Successful day learning about my surrounding ☺

Amsterdam
