Oops! Forgot to take a picture on campus, but we officially toured UW-Superior a second time today with the cross country coach, and this shot up to the number one spot for Travis, as well as Andy and I. Fell in love with the campus again. Coach Drexler has an excellent program and basically wants Travis on his team right now based on his running times. Travis is psyched!! Eating lunch at Gronk's and then home. Finally!!!

Up in Duluth for the night at the Best Western in Spirit Mountain. Will try to get a sunset picture later! Having dinner at Blackwoods Bar and Grill. Saw the Duluth Missaube and Iron Range locomotive. Travis still loves trains after all these years! Walked the road up Spirit Mountain while Travis ran his seven miles and did happen to catch a quick sunset picture.

UW-Stout today. Nice campus. Easy to get around. Laptop included in tuition and renewal in two years and you get to keep the laptop and hardware downloaded on it! Rental books. Lofts built into rooms, which is huge! Met with cross country coach to find out what Travis needs to do to make the team. All in all, great experience! Bumped Whitewater and LaCrosse down the list. At Ted's downtown for a Greek pizza and cheese curds before hitting the road to drive to Duluth. Second look at UW-Superior in the morning and meeting with the coaches there, as they have been actively recruiting him.

Staying overnight at the Hampton Inn before touring UW-Stout tomorrow morning. Eating dinner at Monk's Bar and Grill. Starting the night off with drinks and monkey fries!

Oyyy! Up early today to drive to UW-LaCrosse. After 2 hours and 45 minutes, we are here. Walked to the outdoor track so Travis could check it out again. Ran on it spring 2015, when his 4x800 relay team went to state. Tour at 10:00. Nice campus. No homey feeling for Travis though. Offered all his options for majors. Standard dorm rooms and community showers. Unlimited meal plan is a bonus! Rental books. This is tied for 4th place per Travis. Or 5th. To lunch at Red Lobster before driving to Chippewa Falls.

Jesus led us on a tour!!! Chance was his name, and all three of us could swear he looked just like Jesus leading his flock!! Is this an omen? Because Travis felt at home on campus at Wisconsin Lutheran College! Beautiful and cozy campus and everything in a one block radius with Froedtert Hospital right across the street! How comforting! The dorms look like little hotel suites, with two to a room, and then two rooms share a bathroom. Much better than the community bathroom down the hall with 50 other people! Met with the coaches from track and cross country. Very excited that Travis was touring the school a second time! They will be in touch and watching his upcoming seasons! Wisconsin Lutheran College is number one on the list for Travis at this time. Will see what the rest of the week holds. Finally! Back at Mom's for dinner a little after 5! Long day visiting schools.

Touring UW-Whitewater today. Nice campus, book rental included in tuition. Around 12,000 students. Athletic facility looks phenomenal according to Travis! 4th on his list of schools at this time! Downfall is list of favorable majors. Travis is looking into mathematics or exercise science. Exercise science not listed and mathematics is for teachers only. Travis does not want to teach!!! Other concern is making it onto the track and cross country teams, as these coaches have not pursued him. This is also the farthest school away from Mom and Dad. Pro? Con?

First stop on the college tour is the University of Stevens Point. School of around 9600 students, carries all the majors that Travis is interested in. The tour guide did an excellent job of showing us around and explaining everything. Buildings are looking old. Able to check out computer for three days at a time. Books are included in tuition cost, so you don't have to buy the books. Athletic facility dated. Not much said about the athletic program. Travis is still very much interested in running for a school where the coach is actively recruiting him. So we've already crossed Stevens Point off of the list as a school to consider. Went to eat at Polito's Pizza for lunch. Feta, spinach pizza, Mac and cheese pizza, steak and fries pizza, and Philly cheesesteak pizza. Wow!!! Excellent!!! Shopped at the outlet mall for some new running shoes, cosmetics, and Lindt chocolate. Got to Mom's house a little after 4 pm.
