We stopped in Haines Junction to switch drivers. It is beautiful there and we saw 2 cyclists . I cannot imagine riding a bike on these roads. Guess the truth is I cannot imagine riding period. Tomorrow we head to Liard Hot Springs.

Tok, United States

Anchorage, United States

Saw many beautiful sights on the way here. Mike called our campground in Ft. Nelson and learned that the highway had been reopened. It was a 5 hour boring drive but I did include a picture of canola fields. It is a major crop in Canada and Wyoming. Our campground is old and the bathrooms are outdated. You have to pay for showers in most campgrounds but we all agreed we are skipping, not worth the money. It's 55 degrees. To Watson Lake tomorrow.

Dawson Creek, Canada

Fog descending on the campground last night in Hinton KOA after a rain shower.

Hinton, Canada

Had a wonderful but long drive yesterday. Drove thru Banff and Jasper national parks. It was spectacular. We saw rivers, lakes, glaciers and a caribou. The weather is mild. Our campsite is lovely. We have stayed at 2 campgrounds here in Canada and they have been immaculate. Makes me wonder if most Americans treat things in a disrespectful way.

What it looks like at 10:40 pm.

Typical hanging baskets here. Going thru Canadian entry was a breeze. We are at 3000+ feet which is nothing compared to what we were at yesterday. This campground is very nice, much nicer than any of the others in the U.S. so far. We do have to pay $2 Canadian to shower but the showers are ultra clean. It's 62 with a breeze. Tomorrow we go thru Banff and then head to Jasper. Btw, we are the only pop-up here, there are only big rigs and no tents.

Glacier National Park, United States

A long drive to get from Yellowstone to Glacier but we made it safely. Our campground is new and the facilities are nice. The scenery is wonderful. We are relaxing today and then either Old Faithful or the Tetons tomorrow. We are going into the town of West Yellowstone, Montana this afternoon and do the tourist thing. We will be here 4 days so we are glad we don't have to break camp each day.

Great day in the park. Saw plenty of geysers. Also saw bison, an eagle, mama moose and babies. Having trouble with our air conditioner and heater on the pop up. Any advice for us?

Spent the day going to Jackson Hole, Teton Village, and the Great Teton. Rode an aerial tram had a wonderful lunch at a cafe and of course bought souvenir t-shirts. An amazing but tiring day.

We are taking the day off. Mike and I wanted a break from being in a vehicle for 5+ hours so we are relaxing, doing laundry, getting the camper squared away for the next leg of our journey. Tomorrow we head for Glacier National park. Although we haven't seen everything in Yellowstone, we don't feel the need to see more. Our spirits need to relax and give thanks to God for all he has blessed us with.

Cody, United States

Had a long drive today. Because the summer is the only time when road construction can be done, there are numerous delays each day. Today we were behind 1 1/2 hrs. Oh well, we don't really have a daily schedule but it makes for many hours sitting. Our campsite is primitive again so have to see if a shower is in our immediate future. We got our camper up just before the rain so we're just kicking back before we eat dinner.

This is how bright it is at bedtime.

On the ferry crossing the Yukon river so we can travel the "top of the world" highway and go to Chicken, AK.
